What is EE?
Equal Education is a non governmental organisation (NGO) that started in 2008. Their vision, purpose, goal was to bring equality to south African students and African schools. In 2011 they had their biggest mobilisation when they mended up up 500 wondows in khayelitsha schools. The chairperson is Yoliswa Dwene.
On the picture we have the leader of the EE Thom Lwanele, Zininzi Tandwa, and Olwethu.
MOD is the organisation that visits at schools to keep children busy to get away from crime M=mean mass particicipation O = oppotunity access and D= Development and growth. MOD strted in 2013 its has 3 year now they have dance, netball, netball, tennis, drum, drama thereare many.
The Nyanga Arts Development Centre working with Arts and Culture department bringing Artist in School project. In our school we have three artists facilitating Visaul art, Dance and Socail media.
Peace Makers
Is the group of youngsters that wanna make peace in their communities. itsstarted in 2011 february. Its 3 years 3 months now. They have debaters, crickleters etc. they came from different locations like Cross road, Zwelitsha, Maw maw, Hostel etc. These young people are trying to make peace in their communities in the groups that are involve in gangs. Their purpose is to make change and peace in the communities. They encourage students to stay away.
